My Targets

I have gone through my work and made notes of what i need to do and where i will get the marks so over the next week i am going to set myself some targets

Today

Make sure i have all of my communication
Make sure that i have all my drafts done

Thursday

I am going to redo my client needs
I am also going research production costs for the leaflets

Friday

I will show what i will be using publisher for
I will do that table of what features i have used in publisher and how they will meet my client needs
then once i have done this i will look at changing my choice of software

Weekend

This weekend I will do some research on other publications for y clients and make a document on how they will help with my final product
I will also do my standard ways of working as that shouldn’t take me too long

Monday

As monday i have no lessons i will start to do my action plan of what i have done so far so that i will not have to rush the whole thin g at the end.

Tuesday

I will start to do some of my evaluation and i will hopefully finished my product by then

Unit 12 post 3

Well this week i have finished my choice of software and have done the layout of my leaflet

Next week i am going to sort throught the pictures that i took when i was at Lady GaGa so i can have some live shots I also have all of the information for some of ma pages so i just need to type this up and then the final product will be nearly finished

Next week i will try and finish two of my information pages in my leaflet and try and decide on the final pictures as i couldn’t do that this week as there are too many pictures to choose from I will probaly do my X Factor and Lady GaGa pages this week as i still need some more information and pictures for my other pages. I am also going to finish my choice of software which i will probably do this weekend.

Unit 12 Post 2

Well this week i have done most of my research for my leaflet, and it was probably the only homework ever that i have enjoyed doing as i have got to go on some of my fav websites and get images and information. Also this week i have done my events page which is the centre pages for my leaflet. I think i have finished all the other things i had too do.
Next week i will try and finish two of my information pages in my leaflet and try and decide on the final pictures as i couldn’t do that this week as there are too many pictures to choose from, i will probably do my dancing on ice and x factor pages as, i am going to try and get some more pictures for ma other pages first. I am also going to finish my choice of software which i will probably do this weekend.

Unit 12 Post 1

This week i have done most of my preperation for my unit 12 coursework
As it is half term i am going to plan my time wisly so that all of my work will be up to date.

My plan is to make sure that i have done all of the section for part 12 that need to be done and i am going to improve on them so that they are able to achieve good marks for my coursework. I will also start to collect the dates for the metro radio arena so that they are all up to date and i have as many as possible.

Also next week i am going to look for pictures for my final publication and see where i will put them in my leaflet.

For my unit 8 work i will be working through the changes that i have been told to make and i will also re-read my work over to see if what i have can be made more understandable.

Week 8

This week i was team leader and this week we got most of our interviews completed and most of the team had their drafts done we did not meet our first deadline as some members of the team had not completly finshed parts of their work so we have set a new deadline of Noember 20th so next week the whole team should be ready for the DVD deadline.

The targets for the whole team next week is to have all drafts completed and to have all of our information to insert straight into the DVD

Week 7

This week our eam leader was Amber and whle she was team leader me and amber arranged the times of the interviews for james and josh to do, also most of the team had completed there drafts ready to input our information

My targets for next week whe i am team leader is to make sure that all of the team have completed their drafts and to try and have all of the information ready for the first deadline that we have set for friday 13th November

Week 6

this week our team leader was Josh and while he was team leader we had all planned what drafts we needed to do as we were given the pages that we would each be designing also we got all of the names pf the teachers who we wanted to interview

My targets for next week are to get my drafts completed and arrange interviews

The deciding factors that lead to Lindsey is that she didn’t listen to any of her team when she was deciding which product to go with she also she completely ignored both the focus groups as they both went for the robot product but because she wanted to ‘take a risk’ on secret signals that was where she want wrong when she went against R & D.
They could have said that as the team leader wanted to go with that awful product that they could say that whatever product was chosen they would put all of their effort into it to get the best result possible.
Only a few members the team voiced their opinions but when they did they were rejected by the team leader as she thought that they as she was team leader that she had authority over the rest of the team. However the rest of the team that was with Lindsay didn’t say anything bad about either of the products.
I wouldn’t have defended the team leaders decision as she was told all of the information that she needed as the team was in favour of the robot and she was the only person who wanted to go with them cards, she also ignored the focus groups which was another major mistake as they are the people that would be buying the product so their opinion should be the most valuable to her but she was the first person to dismiss the information.
The things that she should have done that may have helped the girls team to stay out of the boardroom was to listen mainly to the focus groups and then to listen to the rest of her team however I am not going to put all of the blame on the team leader as even though some of the team didn’t like the product they still should have gone along with the team leaders choice (even though it was the wrong one) and just carried on with the pitch in a professional manor as the product wasn’t going to be put into production it was just for them to show their creativity and how well they will, use information that they have been give.

Today we went on the Macbooks and had a look at the programme that we will be using to make our interactive DVD.

We looked at the different layouts that we could use and we have found one that the team likes and we are thinking about using that for our DVD but we will be discussing it at our next team meeting.
